Strawberry tree fruit, wild or cultivated mushrooms, prickly pear, dye plants, thistle, caper and fennel, among others, are the heart of the Wild Resources sector; a sector that has grown greatly as a result of innovation in transformation, which has introduced new uses for products that are very well adjusted to the national territory. Previous work carried out under the PROVERE program has shown that this sector is increasingly acknowledged for its products of excellence and quality, which are growing in visibility and have already secured a place in some foreign markets.
To meet the general and specific goals of the CCRES, an Action Plan was defined for each sector (strawberry tree fruit, mushroom, prickly pear) and is available for consultation.
